Huge old Buckeye ditching machine is digging again after over half a century that left trees growing through it. 10' wide, over 32' long and weighing about 15 tons and more feet of chain than I don't know what! Four cylinder Climax TU gasoline engine provides the power.

  • No loose clothing! Awesome rig though.

  • I call it the finger snatcher...lol Nice work

  • I believe Larry used pressure treated wood, as much as it will run around there at Schoharie that should last a long time. It tickles me he left the chunk of elm tree that had grown up through it in Utica, in the frame, for dramatic effect. Guys like Larry make restoration look too easy!

  • Very nice machine. What type of wood did you use on the track cleats. Is it green treated or oak? Phil
