@EricandDish She had (probably still has) thick, thick dark hair. Was fortunate to meet her and she was gorgeous, stunning. And most impressive- nice- a great gal.

Bobbie Gentry had the most unbelievable black hair by any singer ever. June Carter, Rita Coolidge, Sandie Shaw, Cher, and Crystal Gayle were close, but they didn't compare to Gentry (just as Lynn Anderson and Dolly Parton had the most excellent blonde hair; maybe Dusty Springfield too). Is there any wonder why Marlo Thomas chose her hair for the last season of "That Girl"?
