was discussing this with someone the otherday and we were commenting on how sugarcubes tunes will not age. 'birthday' is a song that if released today would prob do really well as a single. They were so innovative and virtuoso. Man it was a great era for music, Reminds me of long drives down the coast looking for waves!

I first heard this song in 1992 at this club call Numbers off Westheimer Rd in Houston. Needless-to-say I felt in love with Bjork, ever since.

weird to find a fellow Houstonian on here.The Sugarcubes played in Houston in 1997 or '98, and that was the first time I ever heard of them. I used to LIVE at Numbers but that was 1988-1990. I heard it's still open and exactly the same as the old days. I don't live in TX anymore.
