This,my friends,is what you call a woman.Buxom and full,with an otherworldly talent whose purity seems to transcend corporeality.This is a lady,who commanded beauty,in every sense of the word.She epitomizes all the feminist ideals.A true woman.Beautiful and talented - what more could you ask?If only there were more women like her today...

I first heard Rita Streich sing nearly 40 years ago. She still remains my favourite coloratura soprano. A voice for all eternity - like this song.
