Actually I think since he's drugged, he can fight so well... Haven't you heard before that drunk/drugged people usually don't feel anything (likepain), therefore, are pretty strong (since it's all unstoppable, brute strength)... That's why you should never start a fight with such people, unless you're not sober, like them...
