The Volvo V60 makes its entry onto the car market with its sights firmly set on giving the all-new S60 sedan model a tough match over the title of "The Most Dynamic Volvo Model Ever". The initial annual target for the new Volvo V60 is 50,000 cars. Of these, no less than 90 percent will go to European buyers. The first cars will be delivered to customers in autumn 2010.

The rear of the V60 is the best, I think. In profile and front I still like the A4 better. Wagons are never lease incentivised the way sedans are. A 3-Series wagon or a A4 Avant are far more expensive to lease than the equivalent sedans. So no wonder they are less popular.

Acura on the other hand is starting to sell the TSX Wagon in the US this fall. So they are recognizing a trend that Volvo and BMW are simply ignoring: No more V70 or 5-Series wagon for 2011 - true marketing blunders!

V60 is more beautiful and futuristic than A4 Avant.

It is a shame it is not coming to the US and we`re stuck in a sea of boring SUV`s. I always thought Volvo wagons sold well here, despite Americans not being very fond of wagons...
