Please click below and read the entire description before viewing.

This video contains gameplay and cinematics from a canceled MMO, Tabula Rasa.

Classes/other info:
It features the spy class running around in various areas as well as scenes from Omega Labs, a higher level "end game" instance. The guardian class is also shown in the first half.

Why now?!
I recently found a bunch of Fraps files on an old drive. I threw them together the best that I could despite being unable to go back and shoot more clips.

Emulator:
Keep an eye here, this is the most promising project I know of.

Music:
I am fully aware that the music is not everyone's cup of tea, but Gary Numan is a stallion. Try to find a place in your sensual heart for the cyber-grandfather. It was more about the song length mirroring the video's length so don't tell my mom.

Thanks for watching and reading.

Have a winner and don't go on a game over!

  • Check my description for a link to a TR emu project.

  • @vato76 It mentions the song in the description of the video and the fact that it may not be everyone's thing. I had to find a song that was both pertinent and matched the length somewhat. You can hit mute and play some Korn or Lady Gaga if you'd like. Thanks for the compliment anyway.

  • Great video, crap song. Thanks anyway.

  • @KCPTECH I agree. The skeleton crew in the game's final days did a commendable job. If the game had been released in the state it was in when it closed, history may have been different. There was a lot of incompetence flowing around, as you pointed out. Maybe Kim Jong-il will put the TR source code on his next list of demands?

  • @Leavon It would be GREAT to see such a thing but there doesn't seem to be a serious effort under way that I know of!

  • Another game that needs the player base to rebell and get a private server up and running, its been done with other games where the code had to be cracked to get a working server going.

  • If they only would of let us finish Beta testing it. Rather, they released an incomplete game and let paying subscribers work out the major bugs. Korean Head Office wasn't happy with the profits and ordered the game cancelled.

A game with such potential. It's a shame.
