  • my dad drives the same kind of concrete truck and he gets that mother fucker stuck all the time.

  • he could have stopped the drum and had six ship engines. 600,000 hp wouldn't have gotten him out. Traction Traction Traction and Not sinking, Not sinking, Not sinking. look at the soil looks like he found the bottom 12" down. if the bottom was deeper and it got down on the frame, he would be stuck like chuck

  • wut type of Engine and transmission does it have...the transmission part sounds like a Allison Ht748 from the 80's!!

  • LOL drove concrete mixers for years , and how many of us have heard " its ok we had a tipper in earlier " problem is tippers dont have 15ton of concrete going round in circles , and once a mixer starts to lean over then the fun begins .

  • what company is this

  • The drum being stopped is not to save horesepower. It allows the weight distribution of the truck to remain stable while moving through rough terrain.

Using the advantage the power divider lends to enhance the traction of the truck gives maximum traction.

The drum spinning with a load in it throws the weight from one wheel to the other defeating what advantage that wheel might have at the moment.

I have years in backup mixers as well as front discharge. This has been proven over and over again.

  • When the firtst truck has to be pulled out, it's time to call a pump.

  • He was empty, so the bowl turning would take a very small amount of horsepower and it wasn't really spinning that fast anyways.

  • I drive a mixer and our tires deflate for jobs like this.

  • read @yamahonkawazuuki first and seeing most second !! as i ran out of space !!
