So-called "scholar" Bob Morey brings up sex quite often in his theological lectures whether it pertains to the subject topic or not. Here is just one example of many that could be cited. In this sound track from Morey's video on Astrology he suddenly blurts out what actress Jane Fonda looks at while she is at the beach. The Bible says Christians are to keep their minds pure (1 Peter 1:13-16) but Morey seems to have trouble with this even when giving sermons at his church (check out other "truthseekerbobmorey" videos particularly concerning "television viewing," a desired "Sodom & Gomorrah" movie, etc.). Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." The entire letter and other supporting documentation can be found by going to a hard copy pdf site on the internet called fileqube (.com)/ shfolder/10211vNiXWr and look for the report entitled "Recapping Events." Another useful site is the saintaugustinian (.blogspot) with links to multiple internet sites & blogs that expose "Faith Defector" Robert A. Morey for what he really is which adds support & documentation to what Boyd has said
This comment by "jonnytrauma20" is a rather puzzling one. Who is she talking about? Why is she saying someone is stupid? Stupid for what? What is this stuff about "editing jobs" & "retard?" Is she talking about Robert Morey, the man who claims he can read up to 25 books an hour? How can Morey be "stupid" if he can read that much & still know what Jane Fonda appreciates at the beach. This "jonnytrauma20" needs to define her meanings in context if anyone is to understand what she is saying.
