Lincoln LS Spirited Back Road Driving

Just doing a driver's view of a country road that's fun by my house. I had to end the video before the good part because I caught up to a state trooper! The first curves are rated at 40mph and I was doing 80-90, the sharp curve by the house and the one after were 20mph banked right angles the first I took at 50-60 and the second is rougher, but I took it at 55 going in and ended at 45, you can hear tire squeal on the second curve. The video does this no justice by the way.

@Thrash3rSkateRock You're right, since I don't have a G-force meter and the video does this no justice, it's easy for you to say that your truck will do better. Doesn't matter that the LS is a sport sedan, it's obviously not made to outhandle your truck. I'd like to see you try though, post a video.

@Carpoof1 nice car brother , I have an '01 in charcoal green metallic with that sexy sounding V8, I rip around like this all the time, they are fuckin fantastic cars. Don't care 'bout the downfalls, they are worth the trouble.

i gotta say thats not much of a second gear, it shifts from what i can tell 5400 rpms in first to 4900-5000 rpms and it seems to hold it on the rev limited for 1-2 seconds. that kinda what my buddies 04 dodge ram 1500 hemi does, he put on a supercharger to boost it up to around 550hp and when he floors it the trans holds it on the rev limited for like 5 seconds, and god knows thats terrible for an engine and trans but it hasent exploded yet lol

i have a 2002 w/ sport package and it will hit 142 then just stops. full throttle cut. i hate it. lol

Nice video...LS's handle like a dream. But i'm sure you just took a lot of life off your tires....I know mine sure eats up tires! haha

All the sports package is is a suspension upgrade and chrome bumper trim delete. The 2002's had a speed limiter on them, but I believe it was set at 130-135

its doesnt have the sport package, i think thats why. its the one with the chrome bumpers and wood grain steering wheel and shifter and 16' inch alloys
