University of Minnesota researcher Pinar Karaca Mandic has found in her work that a drivers license that is based on levels of skill, called a graduated drivers license, could help to curb the number of teens that die in road accidents. Her research shows that this public health issue could improve the safety skills that teenage drivers learn on the road.
