@canadiancatgreen for that year in 68 it was body mods and also engines. the 4.6, 4.6 supercharged or the 428 cobra jet were offered. now for my year. 2008. they just did interior and extirior. the front bumper gives it a meaner look and also rear bumpers with side skirts. and california special badging. with the stripe on the middle of the door. and like chip foose said. a great lookin modded car is a car that ppl ask what was done to it.everything looks like it was meant to be there.

@wonderbreadkw ok I do agree I have been there in LA and they definatly lve thier cars there and again I appologize for being annoying if I am but how does it look differient because to me If both were side by side I likly would not be able to tell which one id the California Spiecial

@canadiancatgreen because they were meant to look different because at the time los angeles was the place where most mustangs were sold in the world. detroit may be motor city but los angeles is the car capital of the world

how much would one go for after being repaired? My mom has one thats sat outside, needs some rust restoration and interior but it still runs , and we have a late 60's cobra fast back same thing .

I THOUGHT CALIFORNIA SPECIALS HAD A SHELBY STRIPE, AIR INLETS ON THE SIDE AND UPGRADED HOOD?
