I took this at the Walton County Sheriff's Office in February of 2009. I think the story was that the Trooper lost it in a heavy downpour and nailed a tree completely destroying the car. The trooper survived with minor injuries the worst being a 3" or so gash on his leg. Probably the only reason he survived was because he was not that big of a guy, but he was a really lucky guy.

  • Was he ok??? @civiccruiser you go watch some damn tv.

  • @whitebub

Because the only sensors on that crown vic are across the front frame rail and 2 of those have to be activated for the bag to deploy.

  • looks like that driving school thay take is really paying off

  • @whitebub Good question, I just noticed that.

  • Friggen GA police... need to go home and watch Tv..

  • I'm just going to clarify something. When you say you want to be a GSP, that's not right. GSP (Georgia State Patrol) is the agency, Trooper is the title. If you're going to be a Trooper you need to think like a Trooper. Betta get yo' mind right!!

  • firestream93........

i am a volunteer fireman.. a fire clown... on the fire department honor guard.. and a trooper... i have pulled people out of fires, delivered a baby, done CPR on numerous people young and old. i have one such person we helped in a bad crash going to the capital for an award this year. i have pitted 2 cars and one was over 100 mph. i have never had a crash. we are all out here to do a job and help people when we can.

  • 2204Alpha, when cadets grad from trooper school they are lucky to get a car that has under 100k miles on it. There has never been a class graduate with new cars or cars with low miles on it but other than that... thanks for supporting troopers!!!
