If you watch the "I Want You, But I Don't Need You" video, you'll already know about Mr. NO RECORDING VIDEO security dude. Here he strikes again about halfway through the song which is a shame because I love this song. Everyone should because it's hilariously true. I'd give you a direct link to it but I think it'd be better if you Googled it. Ha! Oh, I love puns.

Did this guy get especially frustrated that you kept taping? I wonder if his job was requested by Amanda for the show or if it's something the venue does. Either way, the parts you do capture are amazing.

He wasn't overly pissed, but her was firm that I needed to stop. I think most venues now have a no recording policy nowadays.

I didn't have any problem recording the Dresden Dolls in Jan at The Vic but I've been there a few times since then and OMG, talk about camera Nazis (they came after my hubby who had a camera phone when we were sitting in upper balcony, back row! I mean COME ON! For real?!)

So Metro guard could have been much worse but, still, I wish he would have left me alone.

I expect it was the venue. I used to work as security and we were always told to stop people from recording. It's a little soul destroying!
