OZZIE SMITH interview with Jock 98.7 The Sports Reporter's host Ned Reynolds

This interview took place on May 18th which was the day that Ozzie Smith was named the 21st Missouri Hall of Fame Legend in Springfield, MO at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. This interview is great because Ozzie talks about how he became a St. Louis Cardinal as well as the role that Whitey Herzog had in making that happen. I apologize to everyone who watches this for the background noise. There were hundreds of St. Louis Cardinal fans surrounding Ozzie, Ned and I during this interview so the sounds from the crowd overtakes the sound from the interview from time to time. However it is still an amazing interview with one of the nicest, classiest, and talented athletes to ever play Major League Baseball..Ozzie Smith is a true gentleman and anyone who has ever had the opportunity to spend time with him will most definitely agree
