@tvpirate05 I so agree tvpirate, i so agree. With an A-list host, this game show could be a heavy hitter in daytime television.
-
@Kinravip hey there is a good copy of the closing credits on you tube.
Here's the link: Trump Card - 1990 - Marc Balcer - Part 4 of 4

@nicka727 I do believe the fastest was 13 Seconds.
-
@bpot22 Because Joe got that Perfect Total, He was one of the Participants in Trump Card's $100,000 Tournament of Champions.
-
@palmercomm I WANT THE TRUMP CARD PREMIERE TO BE ON YOUTUBE!!!
-
Pretty sure that $15,000 wouldn't pay for three years of law school even in 1990. Maybe in a public school with in-state tuition. Certainly, today $15,000 would only cover one semester. If that. Hopefully, Joe pursued a more interesting career anyway.
-
Did you win the tournament of champions for $100,000?
-
IIRC, channel 45 (when it was a Fox affiliate) aired the show in Winston-Salem, NC. Now, it's WXLV-TV, ABC 45.
-
If you would of won, you should invest your money on Enron stocks. They're doing well to this day.
-
Why did they pick 21? Would'nt 27 be a better number? I say that because I am not sure how they would get 9 from 21. I would assume the seven winners would get through to the semi-finals, but what about the other 2 positions?
From the closing credits:
"'Trump Card' is a production of Createl Ltd. and Fiedler/Berlin Productions, Inc., in association with Telepictures Productions, and--"
That's where the show cuts out and a commercial starts. Sorry. The distributor was chopped off by the network that day.

I have a copy of the premiere on DVD (game show tape trading). The full credits are:
"'Trump Card' is a production of Createl Ltd. and Fielder/Berlin Productions, Inc., in association with Telepictures Productions, and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution."
Did you hear that live, Kinravip?
And does anyone have a clean copy of the full theme?

Of course it was a long time ago, but I seem to remember that the credits were broadcast aloud to the studio audience. It make sense in a save-post-production-time-and-rexpense kinda way...
