Galveston has come back a long way since this storm. The city has done a great job rebuilding the island.

Many of the transplants were seen using FEMA money to buy useless crap and go out to strip clubs. no it does look different. If you lived here you would know the difference. Yes.. so much has been done to help it build back up but SO much is gone too! It is very different still but being open to public and tourists is great... Galveston can & will rebuild 100%
