This is a sample video (Indoor sequence) of my algorithm which was proposed at the following paper: Wonsang You, M.S. Houari Sabirin, and Munchurl Kim, "Real-time Detection and Tracking of Multiple Objects with Partial Decoding in H.264|AVC Bitstream Domain", The 21st Annual IS&T/SPIE Symposium on Electronic Imaging, January 2009.

  • @beedotkiran86 I did not exploit MVs. I only used IT coefficients and block modes along with partially decoded pixel data. I did not verify the accuracy of tracking quantitatively, but we can demonstrate it from the sample videos in an empirical way. What kind of standard datasets do you consider? If you recommend me such datasets, I can test them in the future.

  • Hey do you use only MVs and DCT error coefficients ? What are the accuracies you get in tracking ? Have you tried them out in any standard datasets ?
