I own the J2 model, love it to bits. New to drag racing but have been into it for a long time.
Best time so far on a stock bike is 11.444. That was before I learned how to launch right. Been 3 months since last outing. Winter and all that. Hoping to go next week if I can get off on the overtime.

i ride a 03 636. i went to the drag strip for the first time in oct ran a 11.0 at 137 mph. thumbs up to you vid man! hope to break into the tens this year! any tips are greatly appreciated thanks

03-04 636's are sick i run 10.71's on mine with only -1 front sprocket slamed in the back and lower 1 inch in the front with only a muzzy slip on and a bmc race filter ,on a shity bald pirelli street tire

easy yes. 120 in a quarter is actually pretty average. I ran an 11.1 at 134 one run. The 10.9 run was only about 129 cuz I pulled quicker in the 60' with less slip on the clutch but was coming up on 4th gear qicker.

At 110 mph .3 seconds is like 4 car lengths. zx6rs can run quarters in the upper 120's easy

'05 636 w/ BMC Race filter, Yoshi headers, Akropovic slip on Techlusion Engine Management System or TFi (Techlusion Fuel Injection, +1 Vortex rear and an Evan Steel tune. Stock wheel base and stock suspension. I did strap the fron down to help it stay on the ground.

No compaaro' The torque in the 636 compared to a 599 is phenominal. 636 would run circles around an onlder ZX6R, the '03-'04 ZX6R 636's are just as good as to '05-'06's with the powerband. All pending on mods to bike and rider ability.

Were you slipping the clutch off the line?

Running stock wheel base and stock suspension. Have to slip the clutch just a liitle to keep from looping it off the line.
