This was the very first time we performed this routine. It was at our school pep rally. This was our "trial run" to see how it would go. To work out any glitches etc.
It pays when your instructor's best friend is a Hollywood producer! She made up the routine, and someone who worked with the muppets designed the costumes. We were a HUGE hit with this routine where ever we went! and we even HAD GROUPIES!
WE were so liked, that some "wannabes" from Texas wanted to buy our routine!!!

This was really good. Well choreographed, well executed. I posted, "After 40 years, I still don't know how to do the crocodile rock." A friend then found this. Someone did the crocodile rock. Good job, Redondo 1987.

OMG...I remember this routine from Miss Drill Team USA! What a wonderful and entertaining routine - so original! And like you - I also wish I had the video tape from Drill Team USA that year (I was on Channel Islands Short Flags Team). If I ever find someone with the tape - I'll let you know. Thanks for the memories!

Oh dear. I seriously wish my school was this cool! You are officially my hero!! I am in love with this routine; just thinking about how much effort went into this makes it awesome, let alone the moves and music. =]

How many kids go to RUHS now??
when I was visiting home not to long ago, it seemed as though there were more students.
