@drippingdream Though I like this version of this song, unfortunately kool or cool doesn't translate into hook composing talent, which is why Sonic Youth were never even as big as Alice In Chains, and nowhere near Pearl Jam or Nirvana. And I know they wanted to be. I remember Bono talking about bands out there who had "everything but it". He was talking about the look, the playing ability, the chemistry, but not the composing talent.
