  • I remember watching this when I was 11 on The Year Punk Broke and totally falling in love with Kim Gordon. I thought she was and still is the epitome of kool.

  • this was just re-released to dvd this past month

  • @mrsunshinesuicide Your first post was a diatribe, shitwit. Maybe writing one on a site that's about communication would help you organize your thoughts. How about keeping your negative, sprinting-toward-death thinking off YouTube for us? We don't feel sorry for you or think you're deep because you have the word "suicide" in your screen name. Go look for sympathy somewhere else...or maybe really go through with it you pussy. The boy who cried suicide. HAAA! HAAAA! HAAAAA!

  • yeah asshole let me take an hour and write a fucking diatribe for this fucking youtube video.. your a dumbass

  • @mrsunshinesuicide Dismissing composing ability in music? You must be joking. That's like dismissing swimming talent in the Olympic men's freestyle. Why am I talking about Bono on a Sonic Youth post? I wasn't talking about Bono. I was talking about something he said. People can bring up other topics in a conversation if it relates to the current main topic. People learn that when they're 5 years old. You might want to think your posts a little more through before you rush them out.

  • what? composing ability? who gives a fuck about that? why are you talking about fucking bono on a sonic youth video anyway?

  • james bond is jesus' brother

  • @drippingdream Though I like this version of this song, unfortunately kool or cool doesn't translate into hook composing talent, which is why Sonic Youth were never even as big as Alice In Chains, and nowhere near Pearl Jam or Nirvana. And I know they wanted to be. I remember Bono talking about bands out there who had "everything but it". He was talking about the look, the playing ability, the chemistry, but not the composing talent.

  • Everyone should be required to watch this video once a month (or more) in order to instill a society-wide appreciation of the vat of awesomeness that is Kim Gordon.

  • @gypsyola Exactly. This one and "I Love Her All The Time" in the same documentary are just the best two live performances I have ever heard/seen in my life. Period.

    Peace.

  • One of the best live songs...One of the BEST FUCKIN' THINGS YOU WILL LISTEN TO IN YOUR LIFE!

    "IT´S LIVE, MAN!!!"
