i agree...but the engineer has to be like that. He is the methaphor(sp?) for the american dream that they had about america. The reality for those who made the trip was so diffrent and hard. thats the reason for him being vulgar(sp?) sometimes and over the top...

It could work. I mean, Kim's life sucks, but I just thought it showed how hard she worked to care for her child. Granted, none of these costumes look REALLY authentic, but they're high-schoolers.
