although I'm a huge utd supporter I have to say that gerrard is in my opinion the best player of the last years in the world!!! he comes right behind scholes, giggs and ferdinand when it comes to my favourite football players because he has such a power but also nice skills also he isn't as spectacular as a messi or cr. a shame if he will never be called worlds best player
