Surefire 60 round Magazine Catastrophic Failure During Match

The last stage of a 3-gun match, a rifle only stage 24 targets, IMGA scoring. The magazine decided to stop feeding rounds, I thought the magazine might have come unseated, checked it then dropped it again and looked inside the rounds were all loose inside of the magazine so I decided get rid of it rapper style. It's raining .223 ya'll (check the shadows on the barrel, you can see the .223 falling out of the air like rain).

@GunfightersINC I think that the ammo I was shooting was loaded too long for the magazine. It was factory Privi Partizan ammo...but I've since loaded this mag up to full with some what appear to be shorter rounds, I'll know more after Sunday, I'm going to try it out again at another match.

@abutler002 yeah I havn't had any problems with my SF mag but I'm always looking for people who have so I know what to avoid and im trying to determine if buying three more is a wise investment or not, By the way I recently developed a kydex mag pouch for the magazine you may be interested in for competition use, check my channel.

@GunfightersINC good deal, nice magazine pouch, I primarily shoot competition so I don't have much need for any more than 60 rounds a spare 30 that I can carry on my belt but for tactical purposes that pouch looks good to go. There is a place selling those surefire for $90...you can probably find it with a little searching, I can't remember where it is. lmk if you can't find it.

@cpage305 That is a Nightforce NXS Compact 1-4x with the FC-2 reticle. Great scope, and can be really fast on the close stuff.
