  • Trond, I have been to Udon Thani several times. This video brings back so many wonderful memories for me. I wife's family lives in the country area of Udon Thani. What part of North Carolina did you have your business? I want to come back to Udon Thani so bad. I produce a Tv show here in the USA and I would love to do a documentary there in Thailand. Would you ever be interested in doing something like that? Great job. Shane

  • @we3p Hello Shane. Thank you very much for very nice comments. I go to School of Photography in Norway now. And I like video too. My videp was made with a DSRL - Canon EOS 5D Mark ll. I have been thinking many times of the posibillity to make some real video from Thailand and or part of Thailand. That would have been nice.

My business was in Monroe - outside Charlotte. Very close to South Carolina. It would have been great to produce something from Thailand ........ from different areas.

  • I also think the quality of your videos is excellent. Did you use a tripod, or do you have a very steady hand?

  • @NightBazaar

hello, I have use a DSRL normal camera. Canon EOS 5D Mark ll and lens 24-105/4.0L IS. I just used it handheld with no tripod. I lived in Udonthani in 2009 when I had gf there.

  • @trope1956 I'm impressed at how steady the images look for holding the cam by hand. It's very smooth. I really appreciate the way you slowly pan which makes it much easier and more enjoyable to view your videos. My wife and I have a modest house in the province of Saraburi but we also live in the USA. I've never been to Udonthani though. The night market there looks fabulous.

  • @NightBazaar

Hello again. I have never been in Saraburi - but many other places in Thailand. Where do you live in USA?

I have been in USA many times before and had a small business there from 1995 to 1996 in North Carolina and in Arkansas. Hope to hear from you . By the way ...... now Nightmarked in Udonthani has been exstended with something called UdTown ...... like a shopping mall in many smaller buildings. Very nice area. Visit Udonthani ....... it is really worth it. Trond

  • My wife also comes from Udon Thani :-)

  • Good job !!! (^.^)

  • @trope1956 We're in Oregon. We're planning to move to Thailand in the next couple of years or so instead of traveling back and forth. To me, the worst thing about going to Thailand is having to leave. Our place in Saraburi is semi-rural, not much of general interest. But the locals are very nice. I'm the only farang around in our area. We have friends living around Udonthani. We might go there for a visit.
