@comedynetwrk Why? Well it's like this. Man chose to be sinful therefor out of God's will and has suffered the consequences. Every since He created us he gave us free will because forced worship is not worship at all and since He loves us He doesn't control us. He allows you to make your own decisions but He shows you what is His way, which happens to be the best way, in life and hopes you take it so He can be with you again. Life is a short period of choices.
-
@comedynetwrk Well, does it matter if it exists or not? We are making are choices that are predestined, but obviously, it doesn't seem that way. Most of us just go living on, who needs to ponder about that so much?
-
@comedynetwrk thats the thing even to an intelligent athiest we must realize that our lives allow no freedom. If you were to say go back in time without knowing it or remembering any of the future you would end up in the same place you were now because there is only one reality. A reality God has predestined from before time that our human minds can't understand yet we try and imagine we have free will and that all our choices are our own

@comedynetwrk-God lives outside of time, so he knows the beginning as well as the end. He knows how our life happens, though he doesn't control it.

And an awesome song!

Question for you guys (and girls) if us, as Christians believe God knows the ultimate outcome of each of our lives, how does free will exist?
