The 10 most romantic Waltzes by Johann Strauss

Johann Strauss, 'The Waltz King', composed some of the most romantic music of all time and the most elegant waltz music ever. Here is a sample of music taken from his wonderful waltzes. Use this as a starting point to explore this beautiful music.

I used a mixture of acoustic and digital instruments to perform this music. I adjusted the original compositions so I could perform all of the brass and woodwind parts using a Euphonium, Tuba, Trumpet, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder and English Horn since I play all of these instruments. Sadly I do not play the violin which features prominently in Strauss' music. I used a windsynthesizer to perform these parts. The expressive nature of the wind synth, in conjunction with the extensive use of acoustical instrument multitracks helps to give a '(more) real' sound with better dynamics and expression than just straight digital. I hope you enjoy the effort for what it is, an effort to introduce the world of Strauss' beautiful music. As I said in the beginning, Use this as a starting place to go out and explore the beautiful music by Johann Strauss II.

I've never heard Voices of Spring played by just orchestra. I've always heard it sung along with a soprano like Kathleen Battle. I just loved it here. The Vienna Blood Waltz has to be one of the most beautiful compositions ever written. Thank you so much for uploading and sharing!
