A little comedy happens as The McGuire Sisters fight over the gold record Perry Como has given them for 1 million record sales of Sugartime. Things get back on track and The McGuires and Mr. C team up on the song, until Perry eventually can't resist and works in his own hit Magic Moments. Great entertainment from the days of REAL TV! ...and if you stayed tuned to NBC-TV that Saturday evening you heard Gisele MacKenzie and Jimmy Rodgers sing Sugartime on The Gisele MacKenzie Show!

  • mcguire sisters were honeys

  • Yes...they are honeys in the morning, honeys in the evening...honeys at supper time....

  • Phyllis is adorable.. You could so easily fall in love with any of them real easily though... funny, smart and insanely talented.

    Long Live the McGuire sisters!!

  • Phyllis just had a birthday on Valentine's Day, which was also Jack Benny's birthday! Phyllis did a lot of solo work while her sisters were raising families.

  • Love this video. Song makes me smile every time I hear this

  • Why is Perry sitting on a stool that makes him at least a foot taller than the women? A bit of inferred male domination going on here? Not that I mind, of course, I'm a guy.

  • back in those dear sweet simple days everyone wondered what the future would be like. Walt Disney would tell us that machines would do the work for us so we could have more leisure time, was it true, do you like where were at now..............Lord help us all

  • thank you i enjoy this old music

  • We really enjoyed watching the Perry Como show.

  • One more note. If you ever got to MEET these people you'd find they were intelligent, articulate, gracious and could enjoy a meaningful conversation with anyone. It was indeed a different time. These people had class, they had warmth, they had ethics and they worked hard for everything they kept achieving. When you'd meet their mom or dad, brothers or sisters or kids you'd unfailing find a lovely family. A different world totally.

  • This video is swell!

Can anyone tell me which of the 3 sisters was the one with the red hair?

  • i love phyllis shes such a doll!

  • Phyllis went out with Sam Giancana

  • comofan100
