i think this is worlds apart from floyd, they may retain certain elements but the music itself evokes so many different emotions. its a lot more internal and is left to interpretaion of the listener.
Yeah Pink Floyd and Goldie are completely different. It just means that floyd's album 'The dark side of the moon' was a landmark in rock music. This album did the same to drum and bass/jungle. I love this tune btw!
a lot of people don't know that moving shadow's rob playford was the brains behind this whole album. he was the one who knew how to work all the equipment. basically goldie would sit there and feed him ideas and rob would execute,compose and arrange the various sounds and samples.
how was made youask?? most likely the way most of the jungle/drum&bass of the time was... with an atari 1040st computer running logic or cubase and a rack sampler such as the akai s950 and above,emu esi series, or perhaps roland s760.
