I know this sounds over-the-top but the Derek Trucks Band has renewed my faith in contemporary music. I see them as the saviors. I saw them at a bar in Iowa City, a blues festival in Wisconsin and the Iowa City Jazz Festival. They are all about the music.

stands up to coltrane's for sure. both are fantastic. I've seen the trucks band perform this and they got a 17 minute groove going that blew me away
