@ArwenUndomiel7 Hmm...I disagree. They did get make allusions to Holmes' cocaine problem, and he was very good at fighting if I remember the stories correctly.

When I first saw these trailers, I didn't think Downey Jr. would make a good Holmes. But I was wrong; this movie was much more convincing than I expected. I can't wait for "A Game of Shadows."

I've never read the books (my excuse is that i'm pretty young) and i love this movie but i thought that real sherlock holmes was really different... but doing some reseach i discovered that it's pretty much the same as it originally was, of course with more action and and hotter men but the characters seem right.

I actually got angry while watching this (Utterly Sherlocked for the BBC version XD) I find it offensive that after BBC 1's version, they haven't removed all Sherlock films because it insultes the gods that are Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman

The first time I saw this movie I didn't like it all nor could I understand 90% of what Robert Downey said. Seeing it again now about a year or so later I did like it a lot better this time. And I thought Jude's and Robert's banter was the best part of the show. I still can't understand about 60% of what Robert says, but it was much better this time around.
