I tried this with my HF S100. It worked, but for some reason, it would only play back the videos in 576p as opposed to 1080i. Any idea why that is?

Thanks for sharing your tips.
I'm anxiously waiting for delivery of my HF11. NO MORE moving parts! WOOHOO!!!

The built-in 32G is also FAT32.
-
Too bad. Fat32 means 4Gb. and that size and HD videos do not get along very well. Any solution???
-
Yes, provided that your hard drive is formatted in FAT32.

Cool. thanks for the info. Do you know if it can be used to back up you Videos if you conect an external Hard Drive through USB to the PS3????
That way I wouldn't have to use the PC. Best.

why don't you just stick you sdhc card in the ps3 sd slot...I find this just works much better

@mvakleko Most of the new PS3s don't have an SDHC slot and it's also possible to record to the camera's internal memory. Either of those would eliminate that as an option. But hey, if that works for you, more power to ya!

were you using the hf11 to navigate on folders on lcd screen?

No; I was using my PS3 remote, but a regular PS3 controller should work as well. Once the HF11 is connected, it works the same as an external usb flash drive.
