And by the way, marriage is NOT right for everyone. And some people ARE married when they have babies, but the father isn't around anyway due to divorce, death, or just being a crap father. Marriage does NOT equate to happiness for everyone, including kids. I'm happy my parents are divorced and my dad is out of the picture because he's a bad father and an abusive husband. It's better that he's out of my life. I agree that USUALLY two parents are better than one, but not always!!!

So why even ask the question "what will people think if you have a kid out of wedlock?" You know you really don't care, and you really don't care what any future kid would want. Your just gonna do what you want and get pregnant. So why even ask what people think about having a kid out of wedlock, when you know you are gonna do it regardless?

Adding to my prior comment-- people are gonna do whatever they want to do "right or wrong." Most of you probably would agree that if you had your choice, you would rather be born to a couple thats married and love each other. You know any kid you get pregnant with would rather have a dad in the picture--full time. But the clock is ticking, and your gonna get pregnant anyway. Even though you know the kid themself would probably prefer a full time dad instead of a single mom.

Out of wedlock childbirth is wrong. Basically the "bio clock" is ticking and your gonna have unprotected sex with the bf on purpose to get pregnant. Bullshit! Just because it is the day and age we are living in doesnt make it right. Ask yourself this question before you get preggo. Would you rather be born to married mom and dad who can raise you together or would you prefer to be born out of wedlock? A child DESERVES a daddy in the picture, not just a guy in the vagina!
This was the stupidest advice I ever heard... and saying something like "if hollywood is any guide..." Hollywood ISN'T any kind of guide. Following famous hollywood people's relationship advice would be like following financial advice of lottery winners. They don't know anything about relationships, just like lotto winners don't know a thing about money. Do you think spending their weeks pay on scratchoffs and lottotickets was really a sound investment idea, just because they got lucky?

People can do whatever they want because it's their choice and their business. Choices have consequences, and not all consequences are bad.
