Royal Guard
Rebellion/Nevan
E&I/Spiral

yay dead Gigapede!

well, the basement is a tricky part. Tight spaces, Abyss and Soul Eaters. Yummy.

Remember the rage I built up at the beginning of the mission? Well, I could have used it on an Abyss, but none of them behaved too bad, so I didn't feel threatened to Release on on.

I take getting to the two Soul Eaters as top priority, which means taking out an Abyss as safely as possible. Spiral guarding works well, but every once and a while you'll catch both of them. Given the angle of the shots, one might sneak up on you and slash your SS rank away. That's why I jump on occasions, just in case. Once that's done, situate yourself, turn your back on the Soul Eater clouds, wait for them to spawn and release DTE. Nevan takes care of the remaining Abyss very nicely, since it has no knock back effect.

And Gigapede...

With this boss fight, there are two major elements to make this a successful, damageless fight: Ultimate and Spiral guard.

Normally, the spot where you'll see me constantly Spiral guard is where I always did it, but inconsistencies with Gigapede's purple orb attack broke my habit, and I had to stay mobile.

Gigapede uses his purple orb attack during it's first phase, allowing Ultimate to absorb them. Staying on ground is pretty safe, if you're in flat against a wall or a corner, with Ultimate.

When Spiral guarding, use the platform shown in this video. When Gigapede retreats in a tunnel, you can still shoot it and pile up some damage. Remember to aim for it's head.

Enjoy.

  • I just got this game like yesterday, and this may seem like a retarded question, but is are S rank and SS rank one and the same?

  • You noticed the ranking screen with ALL S ranks? That's an SS rank, where ALL of the requirements have received S ranks. An S rank is where the requirements averages out to an overall S rank.

  • can u tell me that cheat plz?

  • kamkim is a fucktard and has no idea what he/she is talking about.

You get max orbs by getting them: killing enemies/mission ranks/hidden orb caches/orb statues. You know, getting orbs. 999,999 orbs is the max limit that you can carry, though you can exceed that amount, even though the counter doesn't register the extra orbs.

  • O3O oh gosh

  • @kamkim09 Your "guess-timate" is obviously wrong.

  • How exactly are you getting Spiral to fire so quickly? Someone said you're changing weapons, but I don't see the weapons icons popping up in the bottom corner.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *¬*
