No question about the 6.1% drop in the GDP, no question about the stupid Air force one flight, no question about the rising unemployment rate. No question about the lack of results from pumping trillions of dollars into the economy, no question of where the gitmo boys are going, no queston of when do you play to fill the rest of the empty cab openings. This pres conf was a boring waste. But CNN were thrilled with it.

13 lousy questions in this one hour "news confrerence" with his hand-picked fans....he talks about bickering & Washington politics? This guy is the biggest "divider" of any politician in DC...Not only that, you can't take anything this "affirmative action" prez says seriously - he never accomplished a thing by himself. Never held a job except what was given to him because he is a member of the n.a.a.c.p.
Support Dr. Alan Keyes and his efforts to force obama to comply with the US Constitution -

I thought he answered the question as well as anyone could. "Enchanted"? I'm not sure the reporter used the proper word choice. Who asks the president what enchanted him? As if he was suggesting that the president was at one point under a spell and unable to think or work properly. Obama gave his gratitude to the military and mentioned that he is continually amazed by the pride they show in their country - I thought it was the perfect example for answering the rather strange question.

The NY Times is not doing itself any favors by lobbing a stupid soft-ball question and wasting a good seven minutes of everyone's time. Other journalists were right to laugh at this.
He received tough questions from serious journalists and gave some great answers. The NY Times journalist came off like a corresopndent for Nick News.

Might of been clearing his throat/mouth before speaking, if you swallow (saliva/fleghm?) before speaking some natural sounds occur, click, snap, lip smack etc.
Try it... yeah its weird... heh...
I suggest that he was trying to avoid saying he was enchanted at all.
I find it interesting the reporter chose that word. Psychologically, I would argue that being enchanted with something is a vice, is unhealthy. To be enchanted is to be "under a spell". I would argue that Obama recognized, perhaps not explicitly, that it is wrong and dangerous to be enchanted by the presidency, that is, by its power.
