After 10 months (16 rounds) of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiation, Timothy has been cancer-free for over 4 months!

His wish, that was generously granted by the Make-a-Wish Foundation, was to experience an American Le Mans Race (ALMS) in person. Make-a-Wish put together a trip that was well beyond his wildest expectations. Tim and his family would like to thank Make-a-Wish for giving Tim something to look forward to during his treatments and providing he and his family with an unforgetable experience.

You can read about his journey at:

  • What an asshole the driver is, surely he should of agreed to meet this kid?

  • @johnmoring He did get to meet and hang out with the driver, Allan McNish, as well as the other 3 Audi drivers. The whole family also got to be VIP guests of Audi - being in the pit during the race, access to the private Audi Chalet during race weekend, private paddock tour, laps around the track in an Audi R8. Also being the grand marshall meant waving the green flag that started the race as well as laps in the BMW M5 pace car. Make-A-Wish really went all out and organized some amazing stuff!

  • I had a rhabdomyosacoma when I was eight years old in 1995. It was behind my eardrum in my inner ear. It was the size of a tennis ball and they could not remove it.

So after 28 sessions of radio therepy and 12 months chemo I went into remission.

Ive never had a relapse. Im one of the lucky ones.

  • Wow that is truly amazing! It's great to hear positive stories like yours! Thanks for sharing - I'm sure you are providing hope for many others.
