Sound is a bit poor - turn up your volume.

  • Amen to that!

  • Well thats a shock- Thats my home village Plockton in Wester Ross between 12 and 15 seconds, and I'm pretty sure that the old guy walking along the street with the flat cap is Iain Muchan who died about ten years ago now. The 'Green Man' pub is my uncle Calum's (Calum Seal Trips) house on Harbour St.

  • But a couple of years later, bowing to public pressure, they built the refinery so everyone could drive their cars to the near by shopping mall and the guy in the ad got a job as a cleaner there. So it wasn't all bad.

  • The man in the advert was later sacked by his firm. However, the public inquiry ruled in favour of the locals, and the nuclear power plant was not built!

  • The tune is "Nobody's Perfect" by Mike & The Mechanics.

  • looks like one of the McGann brothers to me

  • well done who ever put this advert up!!! ive had this tune knocking around in my head for bloody years and always wondered where it came from!! youve put me outta my misery and i love you for it!!!

  • I've got this in the commercial break on my old 'Goonies' video tape.
