Clever irony is often misunderstood by the ignorant. Are you serious?! Kevin Hewick deplores sexism and homophobia. He's a tolerant angel and a brilliant songwriter.

Peter Hook sinks to an all time low. Kevin Hewick, wasn't he the guy that made homophobic and sexist remarks on A Factory Quartet?

No. He was the guy who made mincemeat of some abusive hecklers in brilliantly entertaining fashion.
Tony Wilson obviously thought so too. He was the one who selected all the live tracks for A Factory Quartet.
That's the same Tony Wilson who discovered/nurtured Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays etc.
You're entitled to your opinion, of course. But personally I value his opinion more than yours.
