  • No. He was the guy who made mincemeat of some abusive hecklers in brilliantly entertaining fashion.

    Tony Wilson obviously thought so too. He was the one who selected all the live tracks for A Factory Quartet.

    That's the same Tony Wilson who discovered/nurtured Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays etc.

    You're entitled to your opinion, of course. But personally I value his opinion more than yours.
