this is really odd...because that wing is not designed to be fast. since you have taken it that direction...cut 31/2 " off each wing tip (I did)and it will be much faster and a better wing form for the speed you are wanting. Those up turned wing tips are for stability in slow flight and getting rid of them will help the high end and surprisingly not affect the slow flight characteristics very much at all.
