An electric motor made with bits and pieces from around the house and some neodymium magnets to help. The hardest thing to find was the brass strips for the connector and brushes which I got from an old multi-socket plug.

where is the magnet here??? can i use any kind of magnet?

magnets are on both sides of the armature - I used neodymium magnets for stronger magnetic attraction but normal magnets will work quite well
