UFO sightings in Charlotte, North Carolina

This was shot on my iPhone right outside wolfman pizza on January 3, 2010. My phone died at the end of it, but they ended up both moving slowly to the left and then fading in to faint blinks of light. (not like a plane)

Yep, that's exactly what you see when you're facing the airport on the same glide path. Predictably, the lights of the approaching planes get brighter and lower and they will eventually 'disappear' below the horizon as they dip below the tree canopy and land. Charlotte/Douglas is one of the busiest airports in the country. Sometimes you can see four and five 'UFO's' on approach on a clear night.

I don't know what taoright filmed, but I have been trying to figure out who I can talk to about what I saw over my house on Aug 23. It came out of a cloud. It was large,round and the color was like a rusty penny. No sound. I watched it for about 20/30? seconds and it went into another cloud. No hot air balloon, no weather balloon. Anyone have any ideas?

@skittlescodeman Turns out what I saw was a semi-big meteor.. Which is why people from NC-FL have been hearing loud booms the past few days.. Meteors were hitting the atmosphere. Seems no one else in the area has seen the meteors at all though.. Or if they have they didn't report it because geologists couldn't figure it out.

@skittlescodeman Yeah I'm not sure wtf it was really but that was the brightest light I've ever seen aside from the sun.. It lit up the area from atleast 2 miles away. Someone was telling me it could have been a military test at bragg though.. Said they have flares that parachute down to light up areas like that.

@skittlescodeman i was just searching for this because i JUST saw a huge light in the sky.. this video may be bullshit but it seems others have seen lights in NC too.. I mean this thing was as bright or brighter than the moon.. I was getting my dogs chain untangled at 1:40 am.. look up and there is a HUGE light in the sky floating down.. then i grabbed my phone as it was dropping behind trees in the distance. I've seen tons of airplanes and helicopters around here but this was crazy.

Balls of light are very unreliable and could easily be done as a hoax. Bounce of some lasers of some glass and point it to the sky and you could have that. Probably what is was. I lived in Charlotte for like 12 years now and I've never seen that much around here.

me too i believe you i just saw a light red,blue,green,white,and the lights goes out and come back on .the other little dot moves slowly,i didn't think i see one nowi'm looking at it now i in laurinburg nc.

one time a few weeks ago me and my friend hunter were looking up at the sky then we saw a big yellow star then it got smaller&smaller and then dissapeeerd and about 30 minutes later we were still outside then we saw it zoom by about 30-40 above the ground in a field across the street from his house
