Her Perugia, Italy-based lawyer insisted that there was plenty of proof that Knox is innocent and none that she is guilty.

"Amanda," attorney Luciano Ghirga told the court, "has to be given her life back."

Why the media did not try to avoid the death of Troy Davis? There was less proof against him then right now against Amanda.

1 -The real victim here is Meredith Kercher.

2- Troy Davis just died in US with less proof than Amanda Knox.

3-It have nothing to do with Amanda's country, there is 2 others involved and in jail right now accused with the same crime.

Meredith's room would have been filled with dozens of bloody footprints, handprints and DNA of three people, not one, if the prosecutor's theory is true. Moreover, it would have been impossible to remove all traces of evidence of Amanda and Raffaele while leaving all evidence of Rudy intact. Mignini framed them.

To understand the Italian mentality, i suggest you all watch a movie called Magdelana. The Italian people can be brutal and are susceptible to emotional arguments involving sex and lurid behavior. The prosecutor and the press used this to paint an unfair picture of Amanda and the public ate it up. There is NO evidence in this case.

@96rorrim right she is guilty in the court of public opinion. Ridiculous. I hope all these people who are pointing guilty fingers at her - have the same thing happen to them. I've known people who were innocent and ramroded through our own court systems having to defend themselves when they knew that they were innocent.
