The first in a series of short films depicting the growth of Doha, Qatar as seen from an Indian made bicycle The Hero. I hope to capture a variety of moods and textures in this series. While I hope that these films will simply be enjoyed as moving photographs, I hope they make some sort of subtle commentary on the labor involved in building a 21st city out of sand.

I love it, Jabiz! You've captured it well and I know that riding a bike in Doha is not an easy task! You've managed to make the construction of the city look so positive (also not always easy to view it that way). And I didn't know you could get Hero bikes in Doha, though I am not the least bit surprised. Well done!
