Marf and PocketRocket at Trax 2004. Charade GTxx & GTti

Here is me and Marf in our Charades doing a 0-60mph sprint at the TRAX event, Silverstone UK. Properly timed by laser. Marf did a 6.6, I did a 6.8. We were both quicker than the two Ford Focus RS's that went after us(7.0 and 7.2). My car back then was running 15psi boost with a DRS ECU (approx 130 bhp) My old clutch also slipped badly when i changed into 2nd gear! All from 993cc, 3 cylinder!

how come i hear alot of gtti's bogging down when accelerating in 2nd? is it turbo lag or what? i love the cars btw.

That was major clutch slip in 2nd gear for me on that clip. Probably what you can hear. Was still running a standard clutch at that time, and 15psi boost
