AT&T and Cisco - AT&T Telepresence Solution

On April 21st, AT&T announced the industry's first, fully managed Cisco TelePresence solution that will allow companies to connect to their customers, suppliers and partners worldwide. The fully managed solution, offers customers a highly reliable, scaleable, secure service that enables new ways to collaborate and drive business productivity. The AT&T Telepresence "bundled" Solution provides AT&T-owned Cisco TelePresence equipment, installation, full monitoring and management of the application, network provisioning (including AVPN transport), remote help desk service and on-site equipment maintenance and repair. skype and similar apps don't compare. I try to use skype for school meetings, without even document sharing or video and the minute we go over three people, it craps out. The idea of having lectures or business conducted using these tools would be a joke. Cisco Telepresence is the true professional alternative to face to face meetings
