SO if i got an faulty makita Li-ion battery can i repair bad cells with new cells and charge with the same charger, or not?
-
voltage would drop - old laptops use 18650's also, or find them online cheap - careful when you solder to not over-heat (use 60watt soldering iron with a fat tip for very brief amount of time). And remember a certain number of homes in America burn to the ground from improperly charging Li-Ion batteries. Know the risks, especially when you're working with stacked batteries (don't let them short out, or get flipped over, even for a second because they discharge all at once and can melt things)

Could you tell me in Makita 18v 3.0Ah Battery there's (5x2)=10cellc. Usually first 2 are problem sometimes. If i remove them, i got an 8 good cells. Can i continue use the battery only with theese 8 cells and recharge with makita charger?

Thats a lot of konions! Doc are these the same size as in the bosch fat-packs?
-
are you selling any of your good cells? If not, where can I get ahold of some used or ready-to-be-recycled packs?

I did the same thing, but I used some crap out of old laptop batteries. your new iron phosphate ones won't blow up, but I'm afraid to try mine.
