i here goes to listen this beautiful song ,and it was best song when i was in nairobi and my best compliments to the singer.1967 i used to listen this song in the Karen night club.

this is the first version of the song done in the late 60's or early 1970 by Equator sound band in which daudi kabaka alongside peter tsotsi from Zambia and Nashil Pitchen from Zimbabwe were band members.later on daudi kabaka did his version of the same much later.these guys along with other are long dead with daudi passing on in 2001,nashil pitchen 1991.not sure of peter tsotsi i believe he passed on somewhere in the 1980's.the dad worked with east african railways.got to zambi before his death

This reminds me of my childhood and adolescence! cant believe how happy children can be when living with their loving parents even in utter poverty! Its the wonder of nature, to just love and let be loved by the people around you! They say they pity Africa, they say Africans are unhappily poor, i say they have no fucking idea of what HAPINESS is!
