@sheldonthegiant wrong. The song was written by Knowles, Ne-Yo,Tor Erik Hermansen, Mikkel S. Eriksen, Espen Lind, Amund Bjørklund, and produced by Stargate and Knowles for her second solo album, B'Day (2006). Just Wiki it

@jennifernew21 you do realize that anyone can edit wikipedia first off. Whoever wrote the article was someone who probably believes the same thing you did. Then again.. you had to wiki it too. "This past week Ne-Yo appeared on Big Boy's show and shot down the public's perception that Beyonce wrote "Irreplaceable". According to Ne-Yo, Beyonce "contributed harmonies" to the song, she did not write any of the lyrics." he wanted to sue her over the royalties or something to that effect.
