@mycatisromeo heheh its funny cuz i was thinking the same thing the other day...i watched "the burbs" and completely forgot about tom hanks...he was in alot of comedies in the 80's...i dont watch much of his new films, but his 80's comedies were awesome(the burbs, bachelor party, the man with one red shoe, the money pit, splash, volunteers, big, dragnet)..another one is leslie nielson, cant forget the naked gun movies..RIP Leslie Nielson...and james belushi was in some good 80's movies aswell

I love the Fletch movies, got both of them on DVD. As the old saying goes, they don't make them like they use to. Comedy movies have been and gone. Numpties like Chevy Chase and Lesley Nielson will never come along again. And the 70s and 80s will never be beaten for movies.
