If you want to encrypt your hard drives etc use SecurStar DriveCrypt Plus.

TrueCrypt allows you to encrypt your hard drive, with the hardest to crack algorithms, which literally would take years for a hacker, or cracker to crack the password, and then access your files.

This can be done even more basically, without the use of software.

Windows allows encryption of files in 'Windows Explorer'.

well microsoft built in encryption is not that strong that is why there are viruses for windows and every computer has a chance of getting infected.

well first you have to scan it, use anti-spyware products, like malwarebytes, or/and superanti-spyware too.
Then if you are using xp or vista, download comodo internet security against hackers, or download zone alarm,( best one out there) I really recommend zone alarm, and make sure you enable zone alarm as a start-up application, and disable malwarebytes and superanti-spyware because it will make your pc really slow, and then you have to add a anti-virus, if your computer has one, it is ok.
